How To Be Saved & Know It
- If you should die today, where would you spend eternity?
- Are you a good person?
- Is believing in God enough to get you to heaven?

- No one likes to think about death, but it will come to everyone. The Bible says in Hebrews 9:27, "...it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" Death is certain, are you ready to meet God? You will spend your eternity in one of two places, heaven or hell. Matthew 25:46 says, " And these shall go away into everlasting punishment (hell): but the righteous into life eternal (heaven)."
- There is no one that will make it to heaven because he/she is a good person.
If you were born into this world you've inherited a sinful nature. Romans 5:12 says, "Wherefore, as by one man(Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin: and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" Psalm 51:5 says, "Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me." Being good has nothing to do with it. Romans 3:12 says, "...there is none that doeth good, no not one."
- Believing in God is not enough. "Thou believest that there is one God: thou doest well : the devils also believe,and tremble." James 2:19
- There is no salvation without Jesus. You cannot save yourself. Jesus said it this way in the book of John 14:6, "I am the way , the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
O.K. So You Want
To Be Born Again.
- Well the good news of the Gospel is simple. In spite of your sin and fallen nature, God loves you very much and has done everything necessary for your salvation. Romans 5:6 says, "For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly." Also 1Peter 3:18, " For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit."
- You are a sinner, repent to God of your sins.
- Confess Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, and you will be saved.
- Romans 10:9,10,13, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness: and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Dear God in heaven, I come to you as a sinner and repent of all my sins. Wash me clean with the blood of Jesus. I believe in my heart Jesus Christ is the son of God that died for my sins. I believe that He was raised from the dead for my justification, and I confess Jesus now as my Lord and Savior.

What Now?
- Go to a good bible believing church and be baptized in the name of JESUS.
Acts 22:15, 16 ....You will be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard. And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on His name. (JESUS)
Acts 2:38 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of JESUS Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
- Live for Jesus Christ and don't be afraid to die for him.
Matthew 16:24,25, Then said Jesus to His disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my name sake shall find it.
- Confess the Lord Jesus before men.
Matthew 10:32,33, Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Psalm 119:11,12, Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee. Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes.
2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Mark 16:15-18 And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
